Question MSD Shift Interupter on Bravo 1?

Has anybody used a MSD Shift Interupter on a Bravo 1? I bought one thinking it would come with some sort of switch but it is apparently designed for the Alpha drive which has a shift interupter from factory but this is usually disabled when you convert the stock ingnition to an MSD ignition. It has a wire which is supposed to connect to the stock interupt switch - but my drive doesn't have one.
I'm still thinking it could be used if I could figure out how to rig a momentary switch (or 2) on the shifter (or bracket) somehow so that when I shift from neutral to forward or reverse it will activate the ignition interupt. I would like to use this because with the cam I'm running (255 deg int. dur @ .050") I have to idle up high (1000 Rpm) to keep it from stalling when I shift it and I know that the B-1 don't like that. Any ideas/advice would be appreciated.
