Post Electrical parts and longetivity....

Especially starters, solenoids etc. when to change before troubles arise ? Is their a time frame or number of hours usage to replace, before they go bad ?
Have been practicing the policy if I don't know when last done then safe and not sorry and change them to cover my azz...
Any input is appreaciated. BBB

No real time frame for them....its all gonna depend on how well you take care fo things....... and how often they get used.....it may last for the life of the item or it may break first time out...it like gambling..you just never know when the "magic smoke" will be let loose out of an electrical component!
