Wel Stevesxm, has a point, but sometimes things are more complicated than usual. This boat is in Germany the seller
do not know anything about offshore race boats, there
has been several owners inside Germany. The Hin code
is not there anymore if it was there from the beginning
anyway in 30 years a lot can happend with a number
at the transom. I am living in Norway so i need accurate info
and papers on the boat to get it into the country. Thats why
I am happy for each answer who can get me closer to find
out everything about this boat. By the way Cloudmaster
there will always be poeple answering like stevesxm..., Thanks for your comment,

Sounds like a lot of trouble for an older boat...IMO. Have you looked at/for anything else?

In fact i am also looking for a scarab26 excel 1987
Why? because it is a cool boat, and I owned one from 1987 to 1990. And now 17 years later i still miss this boat.
It is kind of rear so you will not find many of the for sale.
