impressive #'s. Bet you can not wait to get the motor in the boat & see what it will do. Did you check and see what air temps were at the throttle body? Have you though of using the rtech intercooler?

I'm anxious to get boat back together but I plan on starting out with the 1037 hp 4" pulley setup as it is almost 100 hp more than my best previous set-up and I am scared that the outdrive might instantaneously break with the 1115hp set-up. The boat has only been able to pull a 32pitch prop before when running light,I think it won't be a problem anymore. I'm now thinking about using 1.36 lower gears too with my 30 labbed as they seem more durable. I felt the intake plenum and air adapter before and after runs,it was about 70 degrees but the water going thru the innercooler was coming off a hose so its a little colder then summer lake water plus the intake gets a lot hotter in a closed engine compt. Did Tom robinson ever finish building a 502 mpi innercooler? I'm sure this thing will probably get a little richer when installed and I will have to do some on the water fine tuning with Tyler before its perfect too. I still have alot of work ahead of me to put motor back in the boat,it takes about 30-40 hours of misery to get everything packed back into my engine compt,Smitty

1050 on pump gas with a hydralic roller (below 6000rpm) and boat headers from a 540 is a real feat...Congrats again...
