Electric or Mechanical fuel pressure gauge ?
How does one tell if you have an electric or mechanical fuel pressure gauge ? If I remember correctly, my gauge has four terminals on the back of it. I'm asking because my gauge stopped working shortly after having my new motor installed. The old motor had a Procharger setup with an electric fuel pressure sender on it. My new motor is a bone stock GM 502, I don't know what kind of sender comes stock. I'm wondering if a mechanical sender connected to an electric gauge might blow it...or is it two entirely different connecting schemes ? Thanks, Rock

a mechanical gauge uses a small capullairy line to it, and a electric gauge uses a sender installed after the fuel pump sys.
they are 2 entirely different connection sys.
