|
and here I though you down under folk were supposed to speak english :)
PS, isn't tassie a bad word? |
I wonder what modifications were done to the stringers to offset the motor ?? And what modifications will be needed to re-center the motor ?????
|
How olds the boat 30 years. You can almost see it now, cast your mind back 30 years, boat shop inthe U.S,this boat rolls off the line."Who lined up this engine, who drilled those holes offcenter"?Crikey guys we have to start being more careful,"Send it to Australia".
As for Tassie,it's a little island way down south where everybody is brother and sister. |
What a lousy install job I can't imagine any reason for that offset. You had better plan on replacing the entire transom and most of the main stringers as well. Good luck with that project.

Depends on the year of the OMC drive. If it's a 1992 or newer real King Cobra it's a cone clutch model and just as strong or stronger than a Bravo.

Measure twice, cut once. Looks like a Monday or Friday install.

just checked the transom and stringers [alls good],its just the engine and sterndrive thats offset ,all the fabrication work is first class, so i suspect the builder had good hand skills but no tape measure. oh and by the way mr fastwank40 i,ll bet my sister is way hotter than any of them shrivelled up excuses of women that you and your lations tamper with. cheers guys tassie boy
