I actually didn't go with larger injectors on the 7lb tune. For the 9lb tune I went with 65lb injectors. I have not run the 9lb tune yet.
For initial tuning purposes, we read plugs & make small adjustments. Once a baseline is made, we step it up a bit on timing & back the fuel off. Read the plugs & make another run.
Everything is logged in a laptop as realtime data. We replay it, look a the data & make adjustments from there.

So your only looking at the plugs !!!!???? So is this done on the water under load? Like the way prochargers are adjusted. At 1000 rpm intervales shut the engine off, and pull the plugs to see if it's rich or lean? Or are you just doing this in the boat in the laneway, on the muffs??
