Default Best Oil for 496 HO's

What is the best oil for 496 HO's (2002)
With out all the tech. jargon, what is the best oil? What about additives like Lucas Oil ?? ANy negative affects to Oil additives? I read a bunch of Oil threads, but I'm just lookinig for a simple answer. Standard, good quaility engine oil ? Synthetics? Mobile 1? Valvoline racing oil ??

Thanks

P

Good ole fashioned fresh, new oil is the ultimate especially when changed regularly at 30-50 hours.

I would save the additive thought for your fuel system especially if your using Ethanol.
