maybe you got just more torque not mmany Hp. But with more torque it was maybe posible to spin a little bigger propeller with a little less RPM but little more Speed

Good luck with the project. It shoudl wake that engine up a little, but don't wait to long to check the springs.

do they fit under the stock valvecovers without problems ?

You're going to have to check that out once they're installed...it will probably require a little grinding but nothing you can't do yourself.
