Default thermostat housing

i just got eddie marine exhaust for my boat,i have a 4 hose thermostat housing for the manifolds,can i just plug the tee hole and run the hoses off the top of the thermostat to the manifolds at the bottom?or do i have to buy a 2 hose housing because that willb e regulated water until thermostat opens????i seen merc did it like this before???????help

Get a T fitting and install it at the manifold outlet like Gil does. You can't plug/cap off any of the hoses on the housing or you will have pressure problems or won't get water to your exhaust.

You need a couple of these -

Those will work also. You just need to connect both hoses into one somehow and at some point.

thanks guys,i would rather and already have boughten a two hose thermostat housing,not into using the tees.
