I have used and installed quite a few EOH units from Brake Rite. I actually just swapped one out last week that had a bad motor. That is the first one that I have seen fail. Know of quite a few that are over 5 years old with no problems. Would not hesitate to use it again.

That's good to hear Young P. That would make the 1st one I heard of going bad during my research.
Do you know if the factory wiring is up to par in a '03 Ford SD? My truck already has the Voyager controller installed. Have read where some have to run heavier ground wire to the battery. Don't know if that is always the case, or only on trucks w/o the factory trailer wiring.
Thanks

That I can't answer for you. I'm not sure about the truck wiring. I can't imagine that they would install wiring for a controller and not use a sufficient size. But, I have seen stranger things.
By the way, the one that failed is about 2 years old and has spent all of its life outside. The trailer sits in the weather 24/7.
