The Holley 12-454-11, 12-454-13 and 12-454-20 will all bolt up as will the Carters with the six screw flange (the Merc armature housing is a Carter unit) Yes, I have used the -11 for a supply pump for the high pressure pump on supercharged EFI setups up to 1000hp. The only part of that pump that is marine (the armature housing) gets thrown away so it wouldn't make any difference if it's marine or not. You don't remove the housing from the sea pump assembly; only the diaphragm assembly.

I am using the KEPP pump. Nice unit. One thing nice thing - it doesn't leak fuel into the pump oil no where near as bad as stock. As far as fuel pressure - no idea, other than adequate.

I am using the KEPP pump, and I am very happy with it. With their pump you do not need to run a pressure regulator.
I run about 7 to 8 lbs of pressure with a 1/2" fuel line. I'd recommend using them. |
Try this link. CV Products billet fuel pump as a direct replacement for the Merc Sea Water Pump combo. To be on the safe and correct side of the psi issue, IMHO you should still run a regulator. Even with these elite units.

The motors in my boat started life as Merc SC600's. They are 800's now, and use the merc pump stup with a electric pump feeding them. No problem with keeping good pressure.

Darrell. Merc used the same mech fuel pump on many motors from the early 454 carb motors up to and including the old SC900. |
