If you are running Holley carbs you do not need a regulator. I have been using one for years. You do need too rebuild once every 100hrs or so, the valves start to leak, but the parts are only about $60-80. Easily supplies 700-750hp.

Hey Bill, When I talked to CV, I spoke with a techie that when asked about psi, he said something like 8 to 10 lbs. He did recommend for a consistent 7 lbs, use a regulator. The 7 lb. figure came from my carb guy.

FYI-----For those who want to use the CV2630, I have the fitting part numbers that you may need to use this pump.
Just for you Bill, I ordered a set of Jesel Pro shaft rockers for my dyno motor. :D

Jeeeezuz. When I talked to CV the guy told me 7-8 lbs, and no regulator needed. Like talk'n to the phark'n IRS. Ask 10 ?? and ya get 10 answers. No matter though. Think I have the issue solved. I'll give ya a buzz and let you know. Thanks again Dave !!

Cool Richard, those rockers do ROCK :D However, I cheaped out and went with the sportsmen, and we had issues with the stands  Maybe I should'a gone with the pro's  I don't know about set up with the pro's. Ya might want to give Yoda a call and talk about that. He knows a guy somewhat close to you that I believe is quite familiar with them ;)

Lemme know how the dyno session goes !!
