indexing sparkplugs is a cheap way to gain a few h/p.it involves using indexing washers of diffrent thickness to get the eletrode of the plug to line up w/the intake valve.you want the spark plug looking at the intake to asure proper combustion.ask any old school drag racer and they well tell the speal on how to do.grant you it is a pain in the a&& to do.but it is cheap.

while the spark plug is looking at the intake, should it be winking at it also?

If you are spinning the prop at the corect rpms and proper amount of prop slippage you are going as fast as your going to go. to go faster you need to build horsepower so you can spin a bigger prop period.

I recently indexed all the large/dense extraneous metal objects within 15" of my fuel lines. This way any stray magnetic fields won't accidentally interfere or misalign any quasi-paramagnetic gasoline molecules. I don't know how many MPH this will yield but I'm damn sure my sound system will work better. - Jeff

it's approximatly 20 hp per 1 mph. thier is no such thing as cheap with a boat. Bring Out Another Thousand:evilb::cool-smiley-027:
