Got your PM, sent a reply. Our Searay isn't a go-fast boat by any stretch of the imagination. But it's air-conditioned. Last year it sat in the slip most of the time because we were still assembling the interior all summer.

Make sure the carpet has 'action' backing.
It's some type of man made crap that mildew will not grow on.
