Be very careful. I know lots of people would like to raise the rev limit, but there's a reason for the limit. Valve train reliability goes way down when these components spin higher speeds. Whipple can do it, but he's not there to tow you home.

I found this post through the search, just curious if you raised the rev limiter and had good luck? I am in the same position with a 29 fountain. 26p is on the rev and a 28 Labbed is to much. thinking about raising rev limiter to 5650 and run the 26. 04' 29 fountain 525 efi xr drive at 19 1/2. anyone else have any response?
