Rev limiter??
I was out on a friends boat today helping him set up his timing. He has a Thunderbolt IV distributor with a V8-20R module. We set it up to 34* total advance. According to Dennis Moores' book, the module has 20* advance built into it. We saw just about 20*, so it worked out fine. My question is, do these modules have a rev limiter in them? If so, at what R.P.M. does the limiter come in?

US1 Fountain,
I saw the parts beakdown you attached from the previous thread. We will have to look to see if the rev-limiter module is on this boat.
Thanks

Check454,
The limiter may be mounted behind the ign module.
If the motor is not a HP series motor, doubt you will find a rev limiter.
