Default Whipple Aux computer issue

Has anyone ever had the Aux computer die on them, (Sidemount Whipple) for a 2000 502 Mag? Mine died on me and if it isn't something minor Whipple doesn't have a solution for me. I'm very concerned that I'm going to end up with a 50lb hunk of metal hanging off the side of my engine that doesn't do anything or just a $6,000 paperweight. Can the stock computer be modified with bigger injectors?

Thanks.

Yes, contact Mark @ Precision Marine, Kenner LA. Aux. computer hasn't been in production for 8 years.

Just shot him an email. I'm trying to be on top of this so the boat isn't down the entire summer. Hopefully it's something simple but I know my luck. Thanks for your help Dustin you have top notch customer service.

Yes,

The stock computer can be modified to work. I have that setup currently. If you don't want to do that, I just sent Dustin 2 Aux computers. Give him a call next week and see if he still has them.

I would like to stick with the aux computer if possible. Does the boat run better with the computer modified and larger injectors? Do you also have to upgrade the fuel system? Sorry for all the questions. BTW you may have also saved my boating season if my computer can't be fixed and Dustin can sell me one of the computers you sent in. Thanks!

If your motor is stock then no reason to change the stock config. I have changed just about everything so for me it was a neccesity. Give Dustin a call next week.

Try www.mefituning.com for your problem. He jsut finished changing 2 rigs by dumping the AUX unit and reflashed the ECU's. Fuel system changes may or may not be required (depends upon application)
