i was going to buy these and running them with dry setup, but i didnt know they melt ??? has anyone had this problem with these KE's dry setup ?

You need to call Bill at Diamond Performance (302) 521-0123 if you need info on the KE's.

I have Lightnings on my 1998 Velocity that are original and still like new. I've had them pressure tested and scoped just to make sure. Mine are the cheap stainless / mild steel too. I don't know what the aluminum KE's weigh but my Lightnings are pretty light. If I had to do it over, I would definitely do Lightnings again except maybe full stainless. I've seen threads about issues with every brand of exhaust out there, just not much on Lightning. The fact that you get them customized to fit your application has to count for something as well.
