I doubt it is the coil. Even if it is, I would just use a merc coil. I tried an msd coil on mine and it didn't last 2 seasons. It sounds like a carb issue.
I ran NGK UR5 plugs in my 525sc. Same heat range as an AC 41 with an extended tip.
