Question gauge light bulbs

Replaced all my gauges last year with Gaffrig and the bulbs have these red rubbers on them. Well after seeing other gauges that are alot brighter than mine at night, is there something that I can change with the bulb to make it easier to see at night. It is just too dim. Thanks for the help

Try getting the red 194 bulbs, They also come in blue. You might need to install a dimmer though or a reistior of some sorts.

it won't matter. if theyre gaffrig, none of the gages will work in 6 mos anyway or be so fogged up with water you won't be able to read them. when that happens just get ones that have the lighting you like.

Gaffrig or Livorsi?

I've had Livorsi gauges for years. NO issues.
Now that Gaffirg (not livorsi gaffrig) stuff may be different

You are right on the fogging. It was one of those things that was a good deal price wise that turned out not to be so good afterall. As far as working, the only one I have problems with is the port tach. Will do fine then just starts losing rpm, bounces alittle then quits. Give it a good smack and she starts working. I am going to order a few led's and try them next week.
Hello there Bill. remember us from our trip to Little Creek? Have not spoke to Macklin in awhile but we are supposed to come back up around Christmas.
Thanks guys for the ideas.

Try Livorsi. I believe they have the led bulbs you are looking for. Try part #LM1012MB-R-BK I also found the wedge style bulb in led also. Part #529411 from Ancor marine products. Available at West Marine. Be aware that most led bulbs are not always brighter, but will emit a much whiter light, use less amperage and last hundreds of hours longer.
