I am running a 454, 1/4 stroke, 482, KB blower pistons, comp blower cam, mild ported oval port 781 heads, weiand 177, 4.5 lbs of boost, 850 holley, 525hp @ 5500..Rob

What about this setup better choice?

B&M 420 polished Mega-Blower, Set up for Big Block Chevy. Comes complete with all pulleys, intake, brackets, Bary Grant Carbs, Linkage, Regulators, partial fuel lines (Steel Braid), & functional Mechanical Scoop. Immaculate condition!, Aleays stored inside,

needs a cooler whch means longer studs and belt to go with it. The studs are available from Teague for 75 bucks. Cooler around 1500.

420 is certainly better than the 250, on a 500hp. An intercooler is a good idea either way. Motor has cast iron heads and 8.75:1 compression. Non intercooled, 420, keep boost to 4-5psi, should make 625-650hp. Add intercooler, you can go to 6-7psi and make 675-700.
