The best synthetic oil for flat out racing
#1
Got a question...what would I use in an offshore engine of say 800-1200 HP for endurance racing.
I would most likely use Motul V-Power 15W-50.
Why?
100% Synthetic - Ester based. It's totally Grp V. Synthetic oil. Very costly. Very outstanding in endurnace racing where you can't change oil untill the end of the race..
Ester synthetic bases and specific anti-friction
additives result in significantly increasing the oil film resistance, reducing
friction in the engine and maintaining the oil pressure and decreasing oil temperature.
High safety margin when the oil is diluted by fuel. Provides high oil pressure and limits
high oil consumption.
It is worth it's price of $29.99/qt

Performance Standards: Exceeds API SH / CF
Approvals: Prodrive Jaguar, Nismo, Venturi, BMW France, Toyota France, Kremer Porsche,
Larbre Competition, Courage competition, Dessoude Nissan, Sonauto Porsche....Hydro's Turbo Porsche'...
Would I use it in "my 600HP engines"...you know me..king of overkill...
Just my usual .02
