Need info on Hi Perf Yamahas
I'm looking at a boat equipped with twin Yamaha 225s...think they're XP models...they're high compression, modified somehow to produce approx 240 hp...about 9 years old...anybody know anything about these type motors...max rpm and fuel consumption are my main questions.....don't know sh$% about aboutboards so any help is appreciated.

Check out www.screamandfly.com. They are outboard specific but mostly Mercury oriented. They could have the answer you're looking for. Very helpful, similar to OSO.
