Default I'd like to help...

but with the limited information you offer, I could recommend the wrong reach spark plug and the pistons could hit the spark plugs. (and I'd feel terrible and you'd hate me).

14MM 3/8" reach?

14MM 3/4" reach?

Compression ratio?

Regular, high test or racing fuel?

Blowers, turbos or NA?

Idle a lot or WOT most of the time?

Are you loading up at idle now?...with what plugs?

I always used the MR-43T's on my 500EFI's. The 700sci's use NGK BPR6ES, which is a very common turbo automotive plug.

My experience is:

Champion.. as somebody put it... is not so great even in lawnmowers.

NGK's always get 'er done right. Very correct and even temp. plugs. Very soild. Plat's or Irridiums are best.

Denso's are great.

A/C...Autolight and Motorcraft are great OEM replacements.

Once stop shopping here:

http://www.sparkplugs.com/

Always "read the plugs after use"...go up or down the heat scale. If bilstered... it's too hot meaning you need a cooler plug...if carboned up... you can go up a notch in heat.

Every engine is different to an extent though we might be talking for example the exact block and intake/exhaust. I mean do not assume for example all 525's are identical. The way you operate the engine and the climate you live in matters.

That's probably why you may have gotten limited responses.

Sound right?

"Traditional NGK Plugs":

454 Mag BR6FS

502 Mags BR6FS

7.4 MPI BPR6EFS

8.1 HO IZFR7M (Calls for Iridium)

Most 350's BR6FS

700sci's use NGK BPR6ES

Looks like the NGK BR6FS is widely used in many applications.

Anything else cross reference with the manufacturer's part. #

Which crosses with the NGK BR6FS..it's the most widely used plug you almost can't miss if you use it. I thought I read that Accels are made by NGK or Denso.

FYI...Merc engines sensors do not recognize Splitfire Plugs and from experience it will cost $$ to dignose the problem.

Stick with what's tried and true. Bosch is the same way.

How's that for some replies AK?

Accel are made by Denso with the "U" groove! NGK has "V-Power"! I typically use the NGK plugs myself. I used the BPR6ES on my stock 454 MAG MPI.
