Is this what you guys are talking about? I was thinking of adding these in place of the dash trim button - they are way too hard to manipulate when the goin' is rough.

Kind of, I was actually looking at this style since I just want to trim my outdrive.

Buck,
I have the one you pictured and have had no problems in six years with it.
You will adapt to whatever kind you get and will like it much better than the dash mounted ones.

Marty - which one? You referred to 2 different ones. If this is not the one you ended up using, do you have a picture or part number of the switches you are using?

The white gaffrig with the 'flat' switches. Expensive but more natural. Had the vertical switch clamp on I think by REX Marine but didn't like the switch orientation. My drive trim is in the throttle knob.

um.... so you're saying that the one you like is the one in my file attachment? That came from Gaffrig Livorsi catalog.

timewarp,

Thanks for the heads up. It looks like that's the way I'm gonna go for now.

One of the guys here on the group has given me an awesome price for it. Looks like I'll be ordering in the next couple weeks.

Thanks again guys.
