Default engine wont start (mercruser 5.7L

Does any one know what to do to start my mercruser 5.7 L after winterizing.
I have done the following:
1. replaced the fuel in ~ 90% of the tank
2. removed and cleaned all eight spark plugs and there is a spark while the starter is cranking
3. removed and cleaned the carburetor it is back in place and I can see two streams of gas shooting down into the both Barrels
I still can not start the engine, knowing that I did not change any original adjustments. Last October when I bought it, it was working but now there is gas coming in and there is a spark but it just does not work.
Please help!

Do you have a kill switch, if so is it hooked up? No I am not kidding or being a jerk.....It happens to most of us at one time or another.

Pump the throttle three times, crank for 3 seconds with throttle closed , pump 3 more times, crank for 3 seconds in idle positon. Continue till it fires. It may take 3 or 4 tries.

By the way spring came and went.

kill switch is up, if it was on, there would be no spark when I try to start the motor, right?
