As Far As I Know all the Smartcraft data are controlled by the engine ECM/ECU which should be part of whatever engine you decide to install. All the SmartCraft enabled engine packages share a common plug/recepticle

some of that goes by year & version. the oldest smartcraft & the newest smartcraft will not work together. you need to know what you have in the boat & what you are putting in. On the other hand, if you are putting in 1050s, you problably could handle the small cost of new gauges if they don't work together.
