2" Shorty on a 26 Sonic

Anyone try or know someone thats tried a 2" shorty on a Sonic 26 Prowler? Performance gains? I talke to Bruce at Sonic today to see if they ever did and R and D with one. He said they never tried.

Try to borrow one and test if FIRST before spending real bucks on it,your already at 6' which isn't terribly deep for a single. My prop c/l is 7 1/2 on my boat and so far I gained ZERO with a 2" shortie plus boat no longer carries the bow well. Just tried a 1" spacer,carried bow better but still not real good,zero speed increase,Smitty
