Very interesting thread, lots of opinions and now your basing someone's knowledge on what kind of boat they OWN and not their experience with pieces that they have built, maintained and driven most of the time.
It's great that some are getting alot of hours out of their motors. I guess they are hiding them, because I have gone to most of the major runs the last two yrs. Seen Mark and AJ at most of these, but I haven't seen the ones talking all the smack at any that I can remember. If they were there, they weren't running their machines.

Re read the thread BIG Daddy it has a question with a question mark ??? there was no bashing i've spoken to Mark on the phone and we talked of boats he'd worked on or built ... Its a boating website is it a crime to ask a question ? I have no beefs with Mark i plan on stopping by his shop on our next new orleans party /trip ..thats if he lets me in the door

No need to reread the thread, I knew what it said when I posted the first time. In case you don't it says "Bigggest HP on pump gas?" Nothing in there about who owns the boat. So why would you call him out on something that doesn't matter.
No it's not a crime to ask, but why would you ask. Unless it is to undermine someones opinion. If you don't have a beef, that is a good way to start one.

Was that a dig towards me, Going to poker runs is not why I own a performance boat. 30 yrs of boating 20 living on the water and I run more in a week sometime than most people run all year.
Mark is great guy and i will allways be proud to call him my friend.,I didn't purchase boats through the years to attend the whos who of boating and O look at me I have the biggest truck and my dad can beat up your dad.
I replied to this thread and still not one person has giving a speed comparison when they went to Whipples from PSI or anyother blower , turbo charger.
AJs boat would be a great comparision went from 1071s to 5.0s runs the same hull, gears, props and driver. Must be classified. The question Bill asked of Mark was legament i dont think he took it the wrong way. Just wanted to know what he ran on his personal boat.
Its my hard earned money to spend and didn't get to were am at today by believeing everything that is told to me remember TRICK MARINE. I got my a** jumped on on this site when I question some of his ways of doing business. We all know how that turned out. The last time I checked Im still a paying member and my reply button works just like yours agree or disagree!!
Besides alot of viewers reading every word. How did it feel to watch Bills Rooster all day??
I think Dustin has handled this fine.
