Default Jetting

On a NA BBC with a single carb (mine is a Dominator), do you stagger the jets front to rear? Assume the impact of the PV's is neutral. I am looking for the amount of your jet stagger, if any vs. the actual jet size.

With the same PV's in primary and secondary, my 1050 on my 525sc was squared as stock. After I did some mods and rejetted, I bumped the secondaries up 2 sizes bigger.

Griff,
Are your plugs approx the same color? Square jetted with 2 PV's I am rich in the front - 1&3 and 2&4. I am done for 2008, but just working on the 2009 plan

This was on my Pantera engine. All the plugs were pretty much white on the porcelain. They had good color on the base circle and they all looked the same. The fuel charge was probably more balanced on mine since it was going through the SC first and being forced in with boost.

I have a domminator on my 540. It was done by nickerson. It has 92 jets in the front 94 in the rear and 4.5 power valves in both front and rear.

fbc25el,
Does your plug color indicate the same A/F ration in each cylinder?

Yes it does. Depending if it is real hot and humid I might hafto turn the idle air bleed screws a 1/4 turn in or out. I am also verry happy with nickerson's work.
