Default 174 blowers

i am rebuilding one of my motors this winter the other is fresh only about 50 hours however both intakes are showing much corrosion from the previous owner using them in the chesapeake so they need to be replaced on both i am curious if i should go with new intakes or small blowers like the 174's any recommendations or advise would be greatly appreciated keep in mind it is a bravo boat and the current motors are making about 550hp dont want to change drives or start grenading them thank you

If you are currenty making 550hp the 174 would be a bit small. Give us some more info on your motor like C.I. and compresion and cam.
