We went the simple route and built a big inch rat motor and CMI's instead.
Baja does not make a 27 OL. Probably a 277 islander. I cant say for sure if the engine compartments are different . My hull is in dry stack and unreachable till April 15th.

Maybe it is a 26?

I really don't look past the engine compartment.

A 25 Outlaw should be fine. Outlawcowgirl put a 525SC in my old 24 Outlaw and they had to modify the back seat. I know the 25 OL has about 6 more inches of room in front of the engine.

MSD's popular 6M-2 with a built-in rev-limiter
Multiple sparks improve starting, throttle response and idle quality
Circuitry is potted for a weather-proof housing
Weathertight connectors protect wiring from water and chemicals
