Question Corsa captain's call wiring question...

I have a 32' Sunsation with twin 454 mags and it's equipped with Corsa's captain's call exhaust. I'm re-doing some of the wiring. The diagram from Corsa shows 3 terminals on the #1 solenoid. Positive, Negative and Aux. Could anyone tell me what the "Aux" terminal is for on the diagram? Is it hot or ground or neither? My solenoids only have 2 terminals each, pos. and neg.

Thanks in advance.

I dont know the answer for sure, but I too am getting ready to re do my wireing. I called Corsa and told them I was going to ned 1 new solenoid and was not sure what to buy. They told me the 3 wire set up is the same as the 2 wire.I am looking at the schematic and se the 3rd wire runs to #85 on the relays. It appears to only be a switch wire. Hope this helps. I have a complete schematic if you need it.

Yes, I see that wire runs there on the schematic, too. I wonder if the aux. terminal has power or if it's a ground. I know the 85 terminal on the relay is to switch the relay, but what does the aux. terminal on the solenoid do? I have that wire just running to ground because I don't have an aux. terminal. I assume that's where it goes.

Thanks for the info.

I JUST REWIRED MY CORSA TIPS AS WELL.I THOUGHT I HAD A SELENOID GOING BAD BUT IT WAS A COMBO OF CORODED WIRES AND RELAY.MY SETUP HAD THE DASH TRIGGER WIRE GOING TO THE AUX. TERMINAL ON THE 3 WIRE TERMINAL.THE WIRING ON THESE UNITS IS TOTAL OVERKILL.THEY USE TWO 30 AMP RELAYS WITH HEAVY GAUGE WIRE BUT THE TWO SELENOIDS COMBINED DRAW LESS THAN 10 AMPS (THEY COME WITH A 10 AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER).I REWIRED MINE WITH ONE RELAY AND WIRED THE TRIGGER SWITCH FROM THE DASH DIRECT TO THE RELAY.THE GROUND WIRES ON THE SELENOIDS GO DIRECT TO GROUND (ENGINE BLOCK).THE HOT WIRE TO THE RELAY GOES DIRECT TO THE BATERRY AND IS FUSED WITH A 10 AMP FUSE.THE AUX. CONNECTION ON THE THREE WIRE SELENOID IS LEFT UNHOOKED.I USED 10 GAUGE FOR THE HOT WIRE AND 12 GAUGE FOR ALL THE REST.WITH ABOUT A POUND LESS OF EXCESS WIRE RELAYS AND CURCUIT BREAKERS IT LOOKS A LOT MORE SANE.

I had Corsas' quick and quiet on my last boat. I remember the system using 1 circuit to pull open the diverters and another circuit to hold open the diverters. I can only guess that the pull circuit used more amperage to open the valve , then the hold circuit would take over drawing less current.
