Default pressure relief valve location?

what is the correct location to install the t-fitting ?do i install before the pump,or after in the discharge side of the pump.i am using a cp performance system.

Are you talking about fresh water flush tee at a sea pump?

Ideally you would want it right after the oil cooler. Cools the oil, but doesn't send the water to the engine.
