Has anyone here tried mounting a subwoofer or bazooka tube in the engine compartment? Is there any reason that it wouldn't work or shouldn't be done?

Too much heat and moisture in the bilge.

i had 2 10"s in engine compartment of my old boat. Sound ended up being too muffled.
