where can i get the blue paint that mercruiser uses to paint the hp engines? is it a dealer only item?

If you can get it mixed the paint code is Dar 4784 Brilliant Peral blue. A buddy of mine works for Merc in Wisconsin

Take a valve cover , or other blue part down to your local PPG store. They will mix you up a pint, and it's much better than rattle can.
