Yes I'm new here. I have a 502 HP500 carbed, possibly a 95 (motor was not factory installed according to velocity). I want to upgrade the cam for some more power and a meaner sound, I tried emailing teague but he never returned the email. I was also wondering how much of a difference swapping in some 1.8's for the 1.7's makes and what is a good brand? Pros cons if any? Thanks in advance.

You should pull the motor to change the cam unless you have lots of room in front. It is very important to degree a cam in properly, particularly in a marine (wet exhaust) evironment. This would be hard to do through a 2" hole. FWIW

that I could drill a hole in, but getting the water circ pump and all that jazz off is the fun part.
