well my opinion on them is what I told one of their reps at the race track one day when he was looking at my car and asked why I was not running there stuff even though I had their decal on the car ?? told him we needed 3....one on the car, one in the trailer as a spare, one back with you guys getting repaired !!! and it's only gotten worse since then !!! 1st off they are not going to make your boat any faster, may idle a bit better..maybe..the only good thing if it is a L with a rev limiter..but they are available as a stand alone unit if you need it. Some people have good luch with them but there are a lot that just fail whenver they feel like it !!! hence my term for them MSD...may soon die....Rob

You may try this site for MSD repair services on your ignition boxes. I had read on a previous thread something to the effect of this company repairing the "weak link" in the #6 box. After their repair/upgrade, the box is a very good component. Perhaps worth an email inquiry.
