Is 80 at idle or drive by ????
80 at idle is gonna be pretty tough all the way around. And good luck getting a "clean" reading with all the other noise sources around.

I hate to say it but if we do not start to get our boats quiet ourselves then this is what we all have to look forward to. People just do not like having their quiet afternoons ruined by a fly by.

I'm in full agreement with Audio. It is up to us, whether we like or not. Be proactive. As you can see, I am. The system works! Under 80db at idle, keeps the "noise" between the drives and points it down.

Where did you hear/see this 80dB limit? The MN state limit is 84dB at idle. Can Lake Minnetonka define its own limit?
