Default Huber Transmisions ?????

What fluid is everyone runnin & havin good luck with ???? Was told to run only Ford/Motorcraft type F and SMOKED another trans yesterday so that makes 2 in 7 days and they were fresh and we have 1 hour on the hour meters for this year .Have heard the name VALVOLINE type F any luck ????? thanks in advance

Bill, i heard that Valvoline is pretty good . I just run reg ATF in mine ,,but what do i know ?! LOL

I always used type F and never had problems, but then again. I wasn't mashing near as hard as you are now. What did Earl tell you to use????

Thanks Bro ,been on the phone this morn with Earl and he's gettin ready to open up the trashed 1 from last sunday and just loaded another 1 be there tomorrow . He still sayz the Ford type F is the Chit

Maybe you need to have him make them stronger.

mashing near as hard as you are now

after the one i smoked last Sunday 15 minutes off the trailer ,we were takin it easy and walkin her up 500 rpm at a time ... just cruisin along at 5600 and she slipped & hit the limiter at 7K and that great smell of smoked clutches & baked trans fluid.

That is a lot of load on a trans. Earl is going to have his work cut out for him now.

Why not shiftable crash boxes? Didn't I read about those some where?

Sounds like something else is going on Bill. Too many guys I know have been smoking hubers lately. Whether behind a 600HP mill or 1300HP mill.

Did you lose fluid at all? Some guys have been blowing front pump seals.
