Alot of load ???????????? C'mon BIG Daddy theres a ZILLION of them Tommie Hubers out there ...... Earl sayz good for 1500 ponies 1000/1200 rpm in gear
may have to look for another spare and take it apart and have some spare clutch packs . my 16 year old is gettin good at pullin them out ..timed him yesterday its a 3 beer job or 20 mins and its out on the dock & cooler washed & blowed out

-Been running Type F for years. Never a problem related to the fluid.

Bill,
Did you change the cooler after you broke the first one. If not, that is probably the cause of the second failure. DO NOT put a new trans in without throwing the cooler in the trash. You can not, repeat, can not clean them. You will never get the trash out of the cooler. Ask me how I know

I have a bunch of 72C trannies if you need some cores. They are still stock and functional. They are up at Texoma Marine gear. I think I might be going to see LEON next week if you want me to pick them up? OH wait, are yours drivelines? I only have one of those.

I had the same issue, but discovered the problem was caused by an elusive air pocket in the trans cooler system: after that was corrected never had another problem.

Eddie is probably on target.

Thanks for the help BIG Daddy I think your Dead on on this , we washed & rinsed but im sure its JUNK !!! 2 coolers ordered and they'll be here Wednesday ...

I would use the AMSOIL Super Shift. Its Ford Type F direct replacement.
