Default Hydraulic Lifter Noise

Tall Deck 598 crane hydraulic vertical bar lifters. After a hard run, when I pull back to idle I have one very noisy lifter. Is there a way to figure out what lifter is making the noise without changing all of them?? Because the lifter pumps make up in 1 minute. I'd like to change 1 lifter instead of all of them. I have adjusted them 3 times already with no success. I bought 2 lifters if needed. Any help would be great!! Thanks- Joe

Screwdriver or solid piece of metal pressed against the valve cover and your ear should help you to locate on/near the loud lifter. Since you have two of them, when you find the area you can replace both lifers in that space.
