Have a pair of 496MAG HO with smart craft. I would like to know fuel flow consumtion on these motors but do not want the expense of installing a flow scan system. Can fuel flow info be pulled of of the Merc Smart Craft system. If so how and can a read out meter/display be dash installed to display info?

My smartcraft for my 525 gives options for total gallons burned and GPH. I would think yours would be similar/the same??

Yep, I second the response. I get Total Fuel used and GPH

Yes, the smartcraft system wiil tell you fuel consumption in GPH, but u still need the correct smartcraft guage to read GPH
