Default 575sci won't start

I'm in the Northeast and I need to winterize my boat. I have a 575sci with 250hrs, it's very well maintained. It has spark and fuel. It seems that it turns and will run 4 to 10 turns and sounds like it wants to but won't run. Is there a moudule or an electronic component that controls fuel flow after startup?

Things I have experienced:

1. I don't think this is your problem, but I've had them flood. If they do you crank at 3/4 throttle and pull back as soon as it fires.

2. This is the closest I've had to your problem: starts, but won't keep running. Had one injector not firing, if you can believe that. Easy to spot if you remove the flame arrestor and just visual the injectors. Best to pull
said injector off and take it to an injector shop. Actually all of them if one is doing that.

Other than that I have no idea.

Thanks for responding. There's full flow through the fuel system until the ignition key is released, then it it stops.

Try the wot thing first, sounds flooded.. if that don't do it then check power at the coil or coils..if theirs power at the coil while cranking its because theirs power coming from the I on the starter solenoid so check it with the key on..if theirs no power check the fuse lead for the pcm, should be on the motor somewhere..

When you release the key switch to run is there still power to the gauges? If not key switch is bad, I have seen this before. I can't remember, but is there an oil pressure safety swich for the fuel pump. I'll have to look tomorrow.

you say "it turns and runs 4 to 10 turns and sound like it wants to run but it doesn't"???? does it start and stall? or is it misfiring on cranking?

Great feedback guys. I'll be looking at today. The cutoff switch was bad, but it didn't change things.
