Sure, Any help to a fellow OSO'er !!
Mark, Yeah well this weekend is Intake manifold, carb, coils, distributor and tune up weekend
Basically start wrenching to get her ready for summer
Man it is getting hot around here, damn wish I played hookie and could take her out and smash some waves
Jason

And I agree, there is no competitive pricing between insurance companies whatsoever. Even allstate from one office to the next can be black and white

That just shows me it is a total BS scam but better safe than sorry is how I feel
To up it to 300 thou was like 80 bucks a year
500 thou I THINK was 130 a year more than 300 thou

Have to call Candice (she sounds like a hottie on the phone) and get the specific details and basically sign up for it
WOOHOO
IM GOING BOATING BABY YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark, Ill have beers all summer, no prob
Where do you put in? You up at trenton still or you keeping her at home now?
I put in at Neshaminy, Need that monster ramp cause the dinky one at Linden Ave wont cut it for 30 footers
You can get a john boat or a wave runner there but big boats need neshaminy

Hey Jay,
Single-engine guy not needing to reply here!

Hey, did that policy come with environmental impact liability coverage? You would be absolutely amazed at how quickly a quarter of a million dollars of damage and/or fines can be attributed to your boat if you happen to stir up a little sea grass or spill some fuel accidentally.

Jay, I'm (back) in the rack at Three Seasons (old Jacks - Seifert & Wright), had some problems there but I'm back in now...I had to bite my tongue on some of the issues we were having to stay there. They didn't care if they lost my business, because they have a long waiting list to get into the racks. And all my friends are there, and i didn't feel like going to Jersey to rack my boat or trailer every weekend. SO I'M BACK IN THE RACK. It looks like all problems are resolved though My junk should be ready by the end of the week.

That girl Candice, was not in today
I talked to some tube steak on the phone
He goes through the numbers with me and comes up with 250 thou of coverage 500 deductible per occurance blah blah, and the annual premium is 533
I said fine
I can deal with that

Then he says ohhh well you need 25% down
I said Fine
I can deal with that no problem at all

Ohhh wait wait he says
Allstate can NOT insure any Baja at all

Ohhh back the truck up tube steak,
WTF your kidding
I said I got your number and information from someone that insures their checkmate through you

Ohhh no checkmate is on the black list too, no checkmates allowed

Whoa whoa whoa you mean to tell me if I call ANY allstate agent they will say the same thing to me about my baja
Yes sir they will

I FIND THAT to be such a load of **** on the back of a truck!!!!

Now im fuming pissed off
he wants my car insurance as well is what it boils down to

UUUHHHHH back to square one

Wow.....that's F%^ked up allright!!!! I just got my new policy in the mail a couple days ago????

I'd call back tommorow when Candice is there and ask for her directly. She is the Agent. (Candace Wishum - Wishum Insurance). If she didn't decline you the first time when you told her about your boat...she shouldn't this time.

Pretend that you never called that tube steak today, and just tell her that you would like to buy the policy that she quoted you on a couple days ago and see what happens.

Jayl13,
I wouldn't worry. Call Candice back tomorrow. A friend of mine bought a 1989 30' Baja. State Farm use to insure his 25 Outlaw. They told him they didn't insure that type of boat. I told him to go with Farmers and gave him my insurance mans number. He calls another Farmers agent and they wouldn't insure him. He calls me back and says Farmers says NO!!! I call my rep and he says he can insure the Baja . He is currently insured by Farmers.
