Just finished up on the dyno. One made 1061 hp and the other made 1056 hp @ 5900 rpm with only 7.5 psi boost. They had a ton left in them, but being they are going in front of Bravo's, we decided to keep them detuned. They actually pulled a little higher rpm then I wanted or expected. I was hoping for them to run out of steam at about 5700. They are essentially done by then, but actually made peak hp at 5900 rpm. Torque was 1004 ft lbs and 1000 ft lbs. They both have a nice, flat curve, so they should be capable of destroying any Bravo in site
I am working on the videos now and will post as soon as they are loaded. Thanks for the kind words everyone. Can't wait to get them in the boat to see what they will do.
Here is a shot of the hp and torque curve of the 2 engines. They are essentially identical through the entire rpm range. I think this is the closest that I have ever had 2 engines. They will usually vary by about 10 hp or so, but these are within 1 or 2 hp and torque almost everywhere. I was expecting 1050 hp with 8 psi, so they did a little better than anticipated. It always nice when that happens.

Here is the other engine. I will post the full dyno sheet later on. Thanks for looking.

Thanks to Eddie for delivering what I wanted. I am very happy with the hp level. I wanted to use a valve train that would give some longevity more than the most hp. A potential 250 hrs before refresh will be the best for me. I can't wait to get the motors in the boat. With all the rain in Nashville now Eddie can probably test the boat with driving it around his block! Nashville is nearly devastated. Eric
