I just used awl grip and sanded my bilge in all areas that i could with a palm DA . Hand sanded the rest with paper. Not really pleased with the finish of my fountain , but The awl grip really looks good and seems to be extremely durable. I have worked in the industrial field for many years , and we have always had a paint shop that used pretty highend epoxys and urethanes and let me tell you that stuff doesnt hold a candle to this bilge paint. I did have a few problems with it that were a Pain . Anywhere that it would pile up and/or sag to ,it would bubble up and form like a scab in it. I was pretty careful to go over all those areas but still ended up with quite a few spots. I even used a "burr" bit to take all of those spots out and recoated and had about half of them do the same thing. Anyone else have this problem?
