Unhappy Skater setback

Quick history:1990 Skater24,twin 225 Promaxs,1.87 gears,Merc lab 34 four blades,6200rpm,at 102.
I'm using a lot of trim and need the advice of someone who has had experience with this boat or possibly the 28' Skater.
I think that it would benifit from 10"s of set back?

Lightbulb how fast do you wanna go?

Hey
I've got an 87 24 ( www.kineticanimation.com/skater.html ) I have Promax 200's whith cmc manual jackplates (about 5 inches I think) My boat has run 97. You are right there with how fast you can get it to go with 225's Joey from Eastcoast marine said they can get 104 out of some baots with 15" 225's. You are going plenty fast at 102. Good Luck
