Yes on the mini's, all I run....the old style would fail regularly for me...

The stock replacement style, Denso style I think, would fail regularly on my 10 to 1 comp. 548's. I must've gone through 6 of them in one summer before switching to the Hitachi style. The Hitachi style is easily recognised with a large rectangular mounting block on the front of the starter. No problems now in 3 years.
